Group D of the Football World Cup 2026 is complete. USA, Paraguay, Australia, and Turkey contested six matches across West Coast venues from to . USA won the group with 6 points. Australia advanced in second place with 4 points, finishing ahead of Paraguay on goal difference. Paraguay finished third and qualified as one of the eight best third-placed teams, advancing to face Germany in the Round of 32. Turkey were eliminated in fourth despite beating the USA on the final matchday.
Group D featured four teams representing four confederations: USA (CONCACAF) as a co-host nation, Paraguay (CONMEBOL), Australia (AFC), and Turkey (UEFA). All four sides entered with their records at zero on matchday one.

Each team in Group D played the other three once, earning three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss. The final standings were: USA 6 pts (GD +4) in first; Australia 4 pts (GD 0) in second; Paraguay 4 pts (GD −2) in third; Turkey 3 pts (GD −2) in fourth. USA and Australia advanced automatically to the round of 32. Australia finished second ahead of Paraguay on goal difference, both teams level on 4 points. Paraguay finished third and qualified as one of the eight best third-placed teams — they face Germany in the Round of 32. USA, as group winners (1D), face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32. The USA vs Paraguay opener on also streamed free on Tubi — no sign-up or subscription needed, with the match available in 4K. This was the only Group D match confirmed for Tubi; the remaining five fixtures aired on FOX, FS1, or both, depending on the game.
For Spanish-language viewers, Telemundo carried the majority of matches free over the air, and Peacock streamed every match in Spanish for subscribers.
